Abstract

Myelitis and myelopathy may be caused by numerous ideologies, such as neoplastic, inflammatory, metabolic, infectious, and physical agents. Cervical spondylitic myelopathy, a spectrum of degenerative change occurring in the cervical spine, is the most common cause of cord dysfunction in patients more than 50 years of age. A variety of ideologies of myelopathy and imaging features are presented in this article.
