• ¹ Janice Lynch Schuster is a poet and essayist who currently writes for the disaster management division of ICF International. She has also written about health care and public policy, most recently for the Journal of Hospital Medicine . She says that writing her collection of poetry, The Cocktail Napkin Love Poems: Short Verses for Long Days (2020), helped her endure the early phases of the pandemic.
