Blood Adv. 2020 Jun 9;4(11):2404-2408. doi: 10.1182/bloodadvances.2019001316.

Abstract

  1. High-density lipoprotein and apolipoprotein A-I enhance activated protein C cytoprotective activity.

  2. High-density lipoprotein and apolipoprotein A-I significantly increase the rate at which activated protein C degrades cytotoxic extracellular histones.
