West Indian Med J. 2000 Sep;49(3):210-1.

Abstract

This is a retrospective study of relapses among leprosy patients who received multiple drug therapy in Trinidad and Tobago between January 1982 and December 1994. The results of the study reveal a relapse rate of 0.65% for multibacillary cases and 1.5% for paucibacillary cases. These results are comparable to the relapse rates reported by the World Health Organization.
